You apply

Fill out our short qualification form. We assess your venue type, foot traffic, location, and fit. Not every venue makes the cut. That's intentional.

We design your booth

If approved, we work with you on a completely custom booth design: hardware, software, print templates, and branding tailored to your venue's aesthetic.

We install everything

Our team handles physical installation, software setup, payment terminal configuration, and staff training. You don't lift a finger.

for a Booth Lab
installation

We have a limited number of installation slots across Australia. We're selective. A Booth Lab booth should be the right fit for both sides. Here's what we look for in a venue partner.

  • Consistent guest traffic You regularly host people who are there to celebrate, socialise, or create memories.
  • Dedicated floor space You can allocate a clear area of at least 1.2m × 1.5m for a permanent installation. Exact footprint depends on booth format.
  • Events or hospitality focused Hotels, bars, restaurants, event venues, function spaces, and entertainment precincts are ideal environments.
  • Located in a Booth Lab city We currently install in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast.
  • Brand and experience-led You care about your venue's reputation, aesthetic, and guest experience. Every Booth Lab installation is designed to match and enhance your space.

Not the right fit

  • Retail shops or offices with no event or hospitality element
  • Venues with fewer than 100 guests or covers per week
  • Short term pop ups or temporary / short lease spaces of less than one week
  • Spaces where a permanent, fixed installation is not feasible

What does the partnership actually involve for our venue?

You provide the space. We handle everything else. Once your application is approved, we'll schedule a discovery session to walk through design preferences, installation logistics, and partnership terms in detail. From there, Booth Lab manages the entire process: custom design and build, delivery, professional fit-out, and ongoing maintenance and technical support.

What happens if the booth breaks down?

Our technical team provides remote support as a first response. Many issues can be diagnosed and resolved without anyone needing to visit your venue. Where an on site visit is required, one of our technicians will attend to diagnose and resolve the issue directly. We take full responsibility for the booth's operation and will always aim to minimise downtime and get the booth back up and running as quickly as possible.

How long does installation take?

The physical installation typically takes one to two days once the build is complete. We deliver directly from our workshop to your venue and handle the full custom fit-out on site. We coordinate timing to minimise disruption to your operations, and our team will keep you informed at every stage of the process.

Can we use our own branding on the booth?

Absolutely. Branding is central to every Booth Lab installation. During your discovery session, we'll work through your colour palette, design direction, embellishments, and any specific branding requirements. The result is a booth that feels like a natural, considered extension of your venue, not a generic piece of equipment placed in a corner.

What types of booths are available?

Every booth is custom designed in close collaboration with you, so there's no fixed catalogue to choose from. Styles can range from sleek, modern, and futuristic through to warmly nostalgic, vintage analogue aesthetics, and everything in between. We also have a number of styles currently in development that you're welcome to use as a starting point or source of inspiration. We'll advise on what works best for your space, your guest demographic, and the experience you want to create.

What cities do you currently operate in?

We currently operate across Sydney, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and Melbourne. If your venue is located outside these cities, we'd still encourage you to apply. We regularly assess opportunities beyond our core territory and may be able to accommodate the right venue partner.
